New Post

This is a post.  This is really good post.

Second Meeting

We need this more than ever. Even if the teachers are properly paid, the schools will still be falling apart around our ears. Brokelyn College, Shitty College, and BCC are a few of the examples of what disinvestment in public education looks like. And infrastructure isn’t the only problem; there are larger classes, fewer full-time teachers, and less student support. Disinvestment in our system is just another form of racism. By taking the money from the students of New York and their families, the state is saying that they aren’t worth the effort to educate. Teaching your students about the systems that would make sure that they are kept in debt and ignorance is why we educate “the whole people.”

And today we’ll have our second meeting to begin to assemble our site.

Hello World!

Welcome to our shiny new website! Right now we are planning on populating the website with media and lesson plans for a day of teaching radical ideas that will raise awareness of the inequalities in the institutional structures that we (and our students) interact with in our daily lives.

You might want to use our documents to design an entire OER course around these ideas or to generate a conversation in your class. However you use this website, we welcome you to our house of rad.

If you’d like to contribute to the effort, please contact us.
